Simpliflying Insanity

Its been an interesting couple of weeks here. I am looking to re-organize my companies, run them differently, setup a team in place, work ;)  and ofcourse there is an endless stream of people who keep asking me if I am going to Wharton. I think its a compliment that someone today even asks me whether I would goto Wharton because I assumed that a lot of people would just assume that I would go!

Truth be said, at this point I would like to head out to W, but I dont know the situation I would be in over the next couple of months. So hoping for the best and preparing for the worst is the name of the game. Finally, we have started hiring at pagalguy.com and are looking at crazy a$$ed individuals who can fulfil our specific needs, which by the way are rather simple

1) Sustain your salary
2) Find a place within the company where you can deliver

Its not fair, right! But for a venture like ours, we need entrepreneurs all the way - within the organization, running the organization and yes, supporting the organization . When I get asked for job openings, I just ask people whether they can sustain their salary and at the barest minimum generate as much value for the company. I am usually greeted by a blank look, but I am glad its not always the same. A part of the reason we require such people is so that they can handle individual processes and divisions alone and its not just another 9-5 job! Will I find more folks like I have? I don’t know - but I dont intend to stop looking. Not until I can fill my company up with crazy entrepreneurial spirited folks who can take it to the next level

On another front, I’ll be speaking at IIT Kanpur as I’ve been invited to speak at the Megabucks event. That should be an interesting experience!
