Why o Lord why

Everytime I talk to a bschooler.. I get a feeling I am talking to an automated voice mailbox. There are a few words and sentences that they can never stop using. But I think this happens the most if the conversation turns to ‘business’. I value opinions, however unacceptable they may be to me, I still value em. Since I am not from a business school, my mind does tend to wander and think .. ‘hey, wait, what would a bschool’d dude/dudette say’ about a certain business problem, strategy..blah blah.

Almost all gems of responses will have the following words in it.

1) Global
2) Comparitive advantage
3) Historically
4) Niche
5) Competitive
6) and ofcourse the word, strategic.

Invariably these words will start repeating in evey sentence….after I probe a little, entire sentences will have sentences containing only the above 6 words or so. I guess, all our bschool junta are extremely well set for a career in consulting ;) . Talk talk talk.. who cares if ya make sense or not. Any more contributions to the above words, folks?

what about “going forward” and i got this from a freond of mine who is studying in XLRI..”Given all this I presume the feasible date of a treat from my side can be scheduled between 10th June to 12th June. I have some other college-related commitments in Bombay, the accomplishment of which might not be possible now thereby forcing me to postpone my return by 3-4 days. So we can have the treat then.
